STETTA was founded with a singular mission — to safeguard the frontline workers who dedicate their lives to saving others. In an environment where uncertainty is the only guarantee, we believe your safety should never be left to chance.
Born from experience. Built for safety.
Protecting those who protect us
The concept for STETTA STAT Sleeves was born not in a boardroom, but in the the high-stress environment of the emergency room. As violence against healthcare providers continues to rise — from scratching and biting to needle-stick injuries — the need for practical, everyday protection has never been more critical.
We saw a gap in the industry. Traditional protective gear was often too bulky for delicate medical procedures or too intimidating for patient care. We set out to create a solution that offers robust protection without compromising dexterity or comfort.
STETTA STAT Sleeves are lightweight, easy-to-wear protective arm guards designed specifically for the medical field. Engineered to be scratch, puncture and needle-resistant, they provide a vital barrier against the physical hazards inherent in modern healthcare.
Whether you are an EMS provider responding to a chaotic scene, a nurse managing an agitated patient in the ER or a psychiatric care specialist, STETTA STAT Sleeves allow you to work with confidence. Our goal is simple — prevent injury, protect providers, and preserve the ability to deliver life-saving care.
Work with confidence
Lightweight, needle-resistant safety gear built for the unpredictable realities of emergency and psychiatric healthcare.
About Jason
Jason Nunn is a veteran healthcare professional and the innovator behind STETTA Sleeves. With over 20 years of experience in medical care, Jason has spent his career on the front lines, navigating the complex and often unpredictable challenges of emergency medicine.
A native of Rock Hill, SC, Jason’s journey from provider to inventor was sparked by a personal and life-changing incident. While assisting during a “code” in a hospital setting, Jason sustained an injury from an agitated patient. The experience opened his eyes to a silent epidemic facing his colleagues — the alarming rise in workplace violence, including bites, scratches, and needle-stick injuries.
Realizing that existing protective gear was ill-suited for the dexterity required in medical tasks, Jason began developing a solution that would bridge the gap between safety and functionality. The result was STETTA Sleeves — a scratch, puncture and needle-resistant garment designed to offer peace of mind to nurses, paramedics and psychiatric staff without hindering their ability to care for patients.
Today, Jason remains dedicated to EMS safety and advocacy. Through STETTA, he continues to champion the well-being of healthcare workers, ensuring that those who care for the community are protected from the risks they face every day.
